24.0 credits CE Credits assigned by MDCBCourse Scope: Target Audience: The TrueBeam Physics and Admin course provides training for Medical Physicists responsible for administration of the TrueBeam machine in the clinical environment. This 4 day course describes all of the machine's components and control system and its deployment. Applicable settings in Oncology System Platform application and user rights are discussed. Treatment and Imaging applications are described and demonstrated with hands on time for patient set up and verification. Use cases include MV imaging, kV paired images, Marker Match, CBCT and Respiratory Gating. Delivery of Conformal, Automated, IMRT, RapidArc, Gated, and Electron fields is reviewed. Pre-treatment QA and delivery is demonstrated. QA tests delivered with the machine are discussed and run on the machine. The Service application is demonstrated with an overview of interlock and faults. Absolute dosimetry and calibration is demonstrated with lab time for a hands-on component.
