ARIA | HITECH Act

ARIA® oncology information system

ARIA is a comprehensive information and image management system that aggregates patient data into a fully-electronic medical chart. ARIA's oncology-specific EMR can streamline care delivery and prepare your practice for the future of medical information management.

The HITECH Act

Electronic medical records (EMRs) have become the standard for managing patient information. The HITECH portion of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides financial incentives to United States healthcare providers who are "meaningful" users of information technology. The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology has recently defined a set of objectives and measures that will constitute meaningful use for Stage 1 of the multi-year program. In order to qualify for incentive payments, providers must use healthcare IT products that meet the standards and certification criteria established by the ONC's Authorized Testing and Certification Bodies (ATCBs).
