Respiratory Gating for Organ Motion
For targets that may be affected by organ motion due to respiration, the Varian Real-time Position Management™ (RPM) system can be combined with proton therapy for accurate imaging and treatment.
The RPM system is accurate, easy to use, and fast. It is comfortable for the patient and accommodates both breath hold and free breathing protocols.
